Madeira Classic Rayon Thread Color Chart 1

Classic #40 - is the classic of all embroidery threads. Viscose Rayon with a wonderful sheen, available in all the colors shown on this color chart and is suitable for all types of embroidery.

Classic #30 - colors are indicated with a (•) beside the color number. Classic #30 is thicker than #40 and is ideal to reduce embroidery stitch counts and produce striking special effects. Due to the thicker construction, Classic #30 colors may appear slightly darker and the intensity of the sheen may vary from the Classic #40.

Classic #60 - colors are indicated with a (•) beside the color number. Classic #60 is the finest Viscose Rayon thread available and is beautiful when used for monogramming, delicate and fine details. Classic #60 is also perfect for lettering on badges and for features on heavier embroidery, as clear definition can be achieved. Due to the Classic #60's fine construction slight variations in shade and sheen from the classic #40 colors shown.

Classic #12 - colors are indicated with a (•) beside the color number. A soft satiny, 2-ply Rayon serging thread, the unique twist of Classic No. 12 makes it an excellent choice for edging garments and badges. A needlepoint effect can be achieved when it is run on standard embroidery machines.
